Resume
- 2016-2019
While at the Art Institute of Seattle, I studied graphic design theory such as color theory, design fundamentals, typography and more. I learned how to 3D model organic and hard surface designs in AutoDesk Maya and zBrush. I can create 3D models, 2D animations, program gameplay functions, texture objects and create UI for games. The college shut down 7 classes from my bachelors degree, however I absorbed as much design fundamentals as I could.
- 2019-2020
I learned basic C++, and programming theory. Here I focused on building my programming foundation that I would continue to work on for the next couple of years. My major takeaway from EvCC was understanding the importance of taking a coding problem first to pencil and paper, to plan and digest the problem before starting to implement code on the computer.
- 2020-2022
This is where I started to focus on front end design. I studied user experience and the importance of good design with websites and web applications. I also worked on projects with a backend database using PostgreSQL and firebase. My senior project was a web application customer relations manager that used the PERN stack for design.
- 2022-2024
At Penway Media, I lead the print production team in creating and managing their schedules. As a graphic designer, I worked hands on with clients to create unique branded packaging for their products. I have started Karmic Designs PNW as a way to explore my passions individually in web design. I want to help small businesses achieve their highest potential in the online world.
